It started in the year 1961 with Ms. Leon Cachan, owner of Hotel Astra Opera, when he purchased it. He acquired 2 other hotels with his brothers Serge, George and Jean-Pierre Cachan. These two hotels were Hotel Astoria (1971) and Bergere (1980; now the name has changed to 34B).
