Apia, Samoa is the largest city and also the capital of the Independent State. Faleolo International Airport (APW) is one of the nearby airports located close to Apia, 24.8 miles west of the city. The city is home to several airline headquarters - Talofa Airways, Samoa Air and Samoa Airways. Its harbor, the Apia Harbor is the largest and busiest harbor in the independent state.

To enjoy the pleasant weather in the region, head to the city during the months of July to September. Apia Samoa hotels are at its cheapest during the months of February to March, but with the possibility of rain and typhoons. The Apia Jazz Festival is the main musical event celebrated in the region.
