Ars-en-Re: Wonderful Attractions in One of France’s Most Beautiful Villages
Originally called Ars alone, Ars-en-Re at present is a town located within the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France. It is known as one of the most beautiful villages in the country. With its location near the sea and a good number of sites and attractions in the area, it was included among the towns given the label “Villages of Stone and Water.” Tourists reach Ars-en-Re through nearby airports, including the La Rochelle-Ile de Re Airport (LRH).

Before booking an Ars-en-Re hotel, you should know that November is the rainiest, while January is the coldest. The most pleasant temperatures are experienced during the months, June to September. For swimming activities, some tourists prefer to visit in August, the warmest time of the year in Ars-en-Re.

An array of historical monuments is worth visiting in the town. The guardhouse and war memorial in Place Carnot are all decades old, if not, centuries.
