Provenance Hotels is a hotel management and financing group founded in Portland, Oregon, with a particular focus on award-winning independent hotels with unique and profoundly integrated art history.
Founded in 1985, the company has grown to 14 hotels across the U.S. It also co-owned The Paramount Hotel in Seattle, WA and The Benson in Portland, OR. It also has three projects in the works at Milwaukee, WI, Hermosa Beach, CA, and Fort Wayne, IN. The property at Fort Wayne is expected to be completed by 2020.
Other properties in its portfolio include Lora in Stillwater, MN, Hotel Lucia, Hotel deLuxe, Sentinel, Dossier and the Heathman Hotel in Portland, Hotel Theodore and Hotel Max in Seattle, the Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery in New Orleans, Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA, and Hotel Preston in Nashville.
Last year, Provenance Hotels opened three new additions to its portfolio including the Villa Royale in Palm Springs, The Revolution Hotel in Boston and Woodlark in Portland.
The 150-room Woodlark in the Pacific Northwest has joined two buildings together, namely the Woodlark Building and the Cornelius Hotel, to revitalize the latter’s original signature and provide guests the perfect mix of elegance and warmth as the contemporary “House of Welcome” of the city.
