Jack Brooks Regional Airport – BPT Texas
Formerly known as Southeast Texas Regional Airport, Jack Brooks Regional Airport, Texas, USA (BPT) was named after Jack Brooks, a former US Representative. It is a public airport owned by the local government of Jefferson County. Covering 1,799 acres of land, it has two (2) runways measuring 6,750-foot long and 5,070-foot long, respectively.

A lot of airlines operated at Jack Brooks Regional Airport in the past. Eastern Air Lines was one of the first airlines to operate at the airport, laying over on its Houston-New York route. This stopped in 1966. Jets have also flown to the airport. Trans-Texas Airways, which eventually became Texas International Airlines, has flown jets such as Douglas DC-9-10s and Convair 600s at the airport, going to Houston and Dallas. When Texas International Airlines merged into Continental Airlines, it continued to fly jets from Jack Brooks Regional Airport. In 2006, the airport had passenger traffic of 59,010. As of 2017, there are 89 aircrafts based at the airport. Currently, only American Airlines has operations at the airport, with a Dallas/Fort Worth route.
