Caltabellotta: Stunning Mountain Town
Located in the region of Sicily and under the province of Agrigento is the hilltop town of Caltabellotta, Italy. It is only several miles away from the province’s capital city and more touristy area of Palermo. The town boasts of an ancient history that dates back as far as 99 BC during the Roman Period and was then placed under the authoritarian power of Arabs who built castles all over the town – making it a fortified town.

Caltabellotta has the clearest skies, the hottest temperatures, and the most number of travelers during the middle of the year.
