Originally named as Comcast Center, College Park, Maryland’s Xfinity Center is the student activities center located in the University of Maryland. It’s the home of the institutions men and women’s basketball teams, and can accommodate up to 17,950 spectators. It is currently the largest arena in Maryland and the second biggest in Washington, D.C. in terms of its seating capacity. Further, the arena is also used for inter-university’s occasions like commencement exercises and for concerts.
