Damnoen Saduak: Have A Fun Fluvial Holiday
The most unique and interesting floating market in Thailand is in Damnoen Saduak. Located just one hour from Bangkok, it is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the country. This is also a great place to shoot pictures, shop, sample the cuisine, interact with local sellers as well as discover the other offerings of the area. Visitors can also opt to take a boat ride farther than the market area to explore the sceneries along the river.
Best Time to Visit
November to April is when Thailand experiences cool weather and it is the best time to visit Damnoen Saduak. This also happens to be Damnoen Saduak’s peak season for tourism, which means prices are slightly higher not just for Damnoen Saduak hotel rooms but for most travel expenses too. Booking in advance would be a good idea if you have plans to travel to Damnoen Saduak during these months. Things slowdown in April, considered the cheapest month to travel.
