Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts center located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The center was originally called the BTI Center of the Performing Arts from 1997-2005. It is a commemorative statue of the city's namesake Sir Walter Raleigh. It hosts live-performances like theater, opera, ballet, and other live entertainments. The halls and centers are designed with unique art and are equipped with highly trained staff. The center houses resident companies, namely Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Theatre, North Carolina Symphony, Pinecone, Theatre Raleigh, and North Carolina Opera.
