Dusseldorf International Airport is located in Duesseldorf, Germany. It is the capital city of German state North Rhine-Westphalia. The airport is also 20 km away from the city of Essen which is considered the largest metro in Germany. After the airport in Frankfurt and Munich, DUS airport is the third largest airport that can accommodate 24 million travelers. 13% of the number is accounted as transfer passengers coming from long flights. Currently it is the home for Eurowings and it is also considered a focus city for major airlines. The airport has three terminals. It also has two runways that can handle big jumbo jets.
