Eindhoven Airport is a mix of military and public airport owned by the Schiphol Group and operated by the Eindhoven Airport N.V. RNLAF Vliegbasis Eindhoven. The airport located 4.7 miles west of Eindhoven, Netherlands serves the areas of North Brabant, Eindhoven and its nearby towns and metropolitan areas. EIN Airport is the second largest airport in the Netherlands and has served over 6.8 million passengers in 2018. It was originally a grass strip that was founded back in the early 1930s and to be used by the Air Force.

Eindhoven Airport features a 3,000 meter long Tarmac and had 6.2 million passengers in 2018. It also had a total of 38,640 aircraft movements during that year. Developments in the airport were dominant during the 1980s. Current facilities available in the airport include exchange offices, health centers, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and a Starbucks. A business center is also available in the area with over 1,500 parking spaces available for both short and long-term parking. Season flights to Antalya, Izmir, Bologna, Rijeka and Palma de Mallorca are also available in the airport. EIN Airport surrounding cities/towns include Brielle, Ottoland and Tempel.
