The Eldon Square Shopping Centre is located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England and was opened in 1976. As of 2013, this was declared as the largest city-center shopping center in the whole United Kingdom. There were a lot of property-owned boutiques that were established throughout the years. In March 2007, the Green Market section of Eldon Square made space for the new Eldon Square bus station and Debenhams department store. In July 2015, above the shopping malls, they also established Eldon Leisure, Grey's Quarter, formerly called as the old Sidgate and High Friars. When the Grey's quarter had opened in summer, this was considered as the first restaurant being George's Great British Kitchen.
