The theater was founded in 1972 by Willial Seldan and Cynthia Mason Seldan but on a different building. At present, it now sits in its current location that was purchased in 1982. This building in Woodbury Boulevard was renovated to be able to accommodate the theater. The building is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
