Ghobeiry: A Famed Religious Destination
Ghoibery is a small municipality located in the district of Baabda, Mount Lebanon Governorate. Ghoibery, Lebanon is dominated by Shia Muslims or Lebanese, who primarily believe the Shia branch of Islam that believed in Imam as the leader of Islam after Muhammad. This municipality became a refugee camp for Palestinian who suffered in the massacre in Sabra and Shatila in 1982. The nearest airport to Ghoibery would be Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY), which is less than half an hour away from the municipality.
Best Time to Visit
From spring to autumn, seasons are the best time to visit Ghobeiry, where the views are at its most beautiful state, and there are only a few percentages for raining. One of the cultural events they are celebrating is the Baalbeck International Festival, where a mixture of classical music, theater, and jazz are being presented. This is done annually every July and August of the year. Ghobeiry Lebanon hotels are pricier this time of year.

Al Omari Mosque is a grand religious site built in 635 AD under the leadership of Omar Bin El Khattab. Even though this was severely damaged during the Civil War, the mosque was restored in 2004.
