Had Nes: Summer Staycation in the Desert
The small community of Had Nes, Israel situated just beside the Jordan River, is slowly becoming a tourist destination. Its name is more often spelled as Had Ness. The town was established in the early 19th century during the Zionist Herut Beitar Settlement Movement. The majority of the hotels and accommodations in town are resort-like, which makes the place a great summer destination.
Best Time to Visit
Had Nes gets plenty of sunshine all year-round. Enough for you to enjoy a long exploration in town. It is most recommended to visit the town during the middle of the year when rain is a rare occurrence. However, it is when the town is busiest with travelers, so you may find Had Nes Israel hotels to be more expensive than usual.
