Ivalo Airport – IVL Ivalo
Ivalo Airport is located seven miles southeast of Ivalo, Finland and is the northernmost airport in Finland and in the European Union. Ivalo is the municipal center of Inari and is 16 miles north of Saariselka. The public airport is operated by Finavia, a public limited company which is responsible for maintaining and developing airport networks in Finland. Ivalo is famous to have trails and seasonal view of the northern lights, Aurora Borealis. It is also where the ear-shaped mountain, Korvatunturi, the folkloric home of Santa Claus, can be seen.

The airport is served by Finnair and Norwegian Air Shuttle serving the destination in Helsinki whileeasyJet, Jet2.com, Lufthansa, Transavia, TIU Airways and TIU fly Netherlands seasonally fly to London-Gatwick, Kittila, Glasgow, Manchester, Amsterdam and Rovaniemi. The airport is equipped with an automated external defibrillator, café, fireplace, free Wi-Fi, a meeting room, restaurants and shops. The airport is near the city of Saariselka.

Located just 12 miles from the airport is the Northern Lights Village Saariselka, where you can sleep under see-through roofs and watch the night sky.
