Formerly referred to as the Commonwealth Convention Center, the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) is a multi-purpose complex located in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Aside from the Kentucky Exposition Center, The KICC also hosts some of the most significant events that take place in Louisville. The facility first opened in 1977 in the area of Tyler Block and was closed for renovation in 2016 that soon reopened in August 2018 with a massive expansion. 

The KICC also hosts numerous sporting events in Louisville, such as the 2002 Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament and the NCAA Division II. Many accommodation sites are found near the facility, which is also close to Louisville’s neighboring towns and cities such as Shelbyville. The Baptist Hospital East is also near the KICC, which is one of Louisville’s oldest functioning medical center.
