Kars Harakani Airport– KSY Turkey
Kars Harakani Airport is a public use civil airport operated bythe General Directorate of State Airports Administration of Turkey. In 1988, the airport was opened to serve the air service needs of the entire city of Kars, Turkey, as well as the its neighboring cities Ardahan, Ağrı, Iğdırand Artvin. During the summer of 2007, operations in Kars Harakani Airport were put on hold in order to make renovations on its passenger terminalas designed by Turkish architect Yakup Hazan. KSY Airport was reopened in October of the same year. Kars Harakani Airport handles domestic and international flights to and from four destinations thru four airlines.
