McCarran International Airport – LAS Las Vegas
McCarran International Airport is both a public and military airport in the Las Vegas Valley in Paradise, Nevada. It is 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas and is owned by the Clark County. The airport is named after U.S. Senator Pat McCarren, who has significant contributions to the aviation development of Las Vegas and the entire United States. The airport was open for flights in 1940 and has continuously improved and expanded over the years making its technologies up to date. Nearby cities of LAS Airport are Las Vegas, Spring Valley and Arden.
