Adagio is an apartment-hotel brand launched by AccorHotels and Pierre & Vacances as a joint venture in 200. Adagio manages rental residences and apartments in tourist cities. The brand emerged in the industry when they targeted French clients. The group prioritized the growing tourism in France. They designed various tactics to serve French hospitality to cater both locals and foreign guests at an unparalleled manner. At that time, Adagio was setting up its foundations and France’s cities were the places to do it. Urban tourism was a hit in the country, and Adagio was right in the heart of it. In 2011, Adagio was already able to acquire Citea. They turned it into Adagio Access which became a sub-brand in the Adagio network.
The brand’s then stretched its operations all over Europe with 90 establishments spread throughout France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and UK. Given Adagio’s expertise and knowledge in urban tourism and hospitality, it quickly extended its same reputable operations in Russia, the Middle East, and Brazil. The brand has over 96 hotels in total. Their strategic locations in tourist spots remain backed by their signature service in which guests can avoid commercial restaurant costs. The brand remains a real apartment-hotel regardless of its rapid and wide expansions outside of its headquarters.
