Lynchburg: A City of Whiskey and Music
Lynchburg, Tennessee is a city found in the south central region of the state. It is widely recognized as the home of Jack Daniel’s, a world-famous Tennessee whiskey. The town covers over 130 square miles of land, with a population of almost 6,400. Lynchburg is under the micropolitan statistical area of Tullahoma, Tennessee. There are relatively few hotels located in the city, but there are numerous ones in the towns of Tullahoma and Mulberry.

August is the most festive time of year for Lynchburg, Tennessee. This is because the Lynchburg Music Fest, a classic combination of whiskey and music, is hosted in the city during this month. The two-day event is both music and camping fest, celebrating the world-famous whiskey of the state and the local music artists, as well. During the summer season, most of Lynchburg, TN hotels can be pretty packed, so make sure to book ahead of time.
What to Do & Area Attractions
History enthusiasts will surely enjoy visiting the Fayetteville Lincoln County Museum and Cowan Railroad Museum, located within 20 to 38 minutes away from Lynchburg. If you’re more of a whiskey fanatic, you should not miss dropping by Jack Daniel’s Distillery, as well. The Lynchburg Country Inn is within a 13-minute walk to the distillery and offers guests a 24-hour front desk and an in-house library. Hampton Inn Tullahoma and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tullahoma are within around 14 miles from the distillery as well.
