Masindi: A Growing Rural City
Found in the Western Region of Uganda, the town of Masindi is widely surrounded by its rich agriculture. Their main crops include cassava, Irish potatoes, sunflower, and other root crops. Also, their fishing economy is also an active aspect in Masindi, which is observed by Lake Albert near the town proper. The tourism growth of the town has greatly improved its economic growth, from nature parks to commercial facilities, as well as Masindi hotels and lodging.
Best Time to Visit
Masindi is best visited during dry season since the natural rainforests are by default, very wet. June to August and December to February are the ideal months with great weather. June to August, however, have pricier rates but is rarely crowded.
