The McKale Center is a sport arena located in Tucson, Arizona. It is home of the University of Arizona’s Wildcats basketball team. This venue has therapy and training facilities. It can accommodate up to 14,644 visitors. The arena opened its doors in February 1973 and was named after American baseball and football player J.F. Pop McKale, who coached the university’s sports teams. The arena’s original construction cost more than $8 million. A renovation plan was approved in December 2012.
