Truly deserving of the 2007 Top Performing Arts Venues award by the Fort Worth Business Press, MetroCenter is a multipurpose facility for a plethora of events and live shows: conferences, musicals, rock concerts, community events, place of worship, among others. It stands in Arlington, Texas and was built in 2005, with the contributions made by the Beck Group Architecture (design) and the Manhattan Construction Company. It was the firm Acoustic Dimensions that designed the audio and video system of the facility, while it was Ford Audio and Video that installed it. MetroCenter is the brainchild of Executive Pastor Mike Wierick and Senior Pastor Dr. Gary Smith.

It is managed by volunteers and a board of directors, and has hosted notable exhibitions of the works of Salvador Dali, photographs by Milton H. Greene, woodblock prints of Utagawa Hiroshige, and many more.
