Minamiawaji: Four Districts in a Modern Casket
Minamiawaji, Japan is a relatively new and modern city located in the Southern part of Awaji Island in the Hyogo Prefecture. Awaji has been known for its unique and sweet-tasting onions, which are mostly grown in Minamiawaji. In 2005, this city became a merger of four districts namely Mihara, Midori, Nandan, and Seidan.
