Onjuku: The Summer Capital
The coastal town of Onjuku, Japan in Chiba prefecture opens its east coasts in the popular blue Pacific Ocean. The town also welcomes the wind from the pacific and enjoys the temperate maritime climate. Onjuku is surrounded by sandy rolling hills of Boso Hill Range. What to Do & Area Attractions
Aside from the beaches, Onjuku has a significant history with Spain and Mexico. In 1928 a tower was built for the relationship of the countries. At present, you can find the strong standing Birthplace Monument of Traffic and Friendship between Japan, Spain and Mexico. Also check out the unique seaside resort and beach Desert of Moon Park which offers a desert experience. Ride the camel by the beach, a truly one of kind experience. Suggested places to stay include Flying Sumo Surf Company. It is a 3-minute walk resort from the Pacific Ocean. There is also Sayan Terrace Hotel & Resort fronting the beach but still near the local transportation.
