Southwest Oregon Regional Airport – OTH Airport
Southwest Oregon Regional Airport is a public airport located in North Bend, Coos County, Oregon. It was originally named North Bend Municipal Airport but later changed to its present name in 2006 to avoid confusion with Bend in central Oregon. OTH is the only airport with passenger service on the Oregon Coast.
Best Time to Visit
OTH Airport covers a land area measuring 619 acres and stands on an elevation of 17 feet above sea level. United Express serves the airport with nonstop flights to San Francisco International Airport. Before, United Express flew nonstop flights to Portland International Airport but ended on February 2012. The airline also offers seasonal nonstop flights to Denver. More and more private and corporate jets can be seen in the airport due to golfers visiting the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort located 20 minutes from the facility. In 2008, a new terminal facility was opened and in 2009 a new Air Traffic Control Tower was opened as well. As of 2018, the airport handled 25,000 passengers.
