Located in Elmhurst in New York, the Queens Center Mall is the biggest shopping facility in Queens borough. It covers a retail floor area of approximately 89,790 square meters with over 190 stores and services, including 2 anchor stores, JCPenney and Macy’s. Featuring a stadium-like design, the shopping center opened in 1973, but became a property of The Macerich Company sometime during the 1990s. It had its major renovation and expansion between 2002 and 2004, almost expanding twice its original size.
