Reading Regional Airport – RDG Airport
Reading Regional Airport is also known locally as Carl A. Spaatz Field. It is a public airport owned by the Reading Regional Airport Authority and is located in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. As of 2006, the airport handled 2,268 passengers. Southwest Airlines and other charter airlines serve the airport.

The history of RDG goes way back to 1934 when the site for the airport was first selected. Over the years, RDG Airport underwent several constructions and now boasts of a new and modern airport terminal, lengthened runways, updated navigational aids and a new control tower. The airport covers a land area of 888 acres and has two asphalted runways measuring 6,350 feet and 5,150 feet. Also located on the airport is the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum where historic warplanes as well as classic airliners are collected, restored, and displayed for the public. Nearby cities such as Phoenixville, Norwood, and Warrington make use of the services offered by the Reading Regional Airport.
