Located in the Vienna Township, Scottsburg is an American city that serves as the home of one of the oldest houses in Indiana. Surveyed in 1871 by Henry K. Wardell, together with his associate William Estill, the town’s name was a tribute for Colonel Horace Scott. Scott was a general in Jeffersonville, Indianapolis Railroad and Madison during the early settlements in the region. Scottsburg, IN is located between Owen Streets and Kerton and had its first ever fair back in 1888. At present, the region is known for its golf courses, parks, celebrations and fun events.
