Sheki: UNESCO World Heritage Site
Sheki is a city located in the Sheki District in northwestern Azerbaijan. The combined culture of Asia and Europe manifests in the city as it had been the major staging post of the Silk Road that served as the main transport road from China to Europe, which earned the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.
