Sines Culture and Arts Center is one of the most visited sites and a famous landmark in Sines, Portugal. Although located in the historic city center, this visual arts center houses a collection of contemporary art by local and some international artists. Built in 2005 by the architects of Aires Mateus, the Sines Culture and Arts Center also houses a multi-purpose area, which is often used for art exhibits and other cultural events. Located in the basement of the property, the Sines Culture and Arts Center also has access to a library, which visitors pass through to get to the arts center itself.
There are many fun things to do around the area where the arts center stands, but having access to nearby Porto Covo and Melides just doubles the chances for sightseeing and recreation.
