Named after Edward Weider, the first chancellor of the University Of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts or just simply Weidner Center is a multi-purpose arts facility situated in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on the grounds of the University Of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Opened on July 15, 1993, this performing arts center has been the venue of many memorable events from musical to theater performances. Weidner Center has four facilities namely: Cofrin Family Hall is the main hall, Fort Howard Hall is the recital hall, Studio One is the dance hall and the Jean Weidner Theater a round theater usually use for opera theater performances.
