North Bay Airport – YYB North Bay
North Bay Airport with code YBB is located in North Bay, Ontario. The airport is also known as Jack Garland Airport. It is located about 7.4 km from the city center. It is also a base for North American Aerospace Defense Command. Jack Garland is a long-time member of North Bay’s parliament. Every year until 2004, the field is hosting the yearly annual show during the Heritage Festival. The show has a large military part. The airport is also the home of Canadore College which offers aviation courses. The airport is also housing the CFB North Bay which started its operation in 1951. The facility is fully operated by the local government.

North Bay Aiport’s first terminal was constructed in 1938. It houses the waiting area and the control tower. After the Second World War, the second terminal was built in 1963. East Ferris and Lavigne are two cities close to the airport.
