Bad Mergentheim: The Famous Spa Town of Germany
Bad Mergentheim is a town located in the Main-Tauber-Kreis district of the Baden-Württemberg state. It has been mentioned in history books as early as the first millennia. The discovery of the first Mergentheim springs in town brought the spa season in which people from various districts visit the town and led to it being named as such since Bad means "bath" in Germany. Arriving from the Mannheim City Airport or the Frankfurt Main Airport, visitors can reach the town after a few hours of driving.
