Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is also known as NCBPAC or NC Blumenthal Center. This performing arts center is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened in 1992 and was named after the people of North Carolina and Blumenthal Foundation that was established by I.D. Blumenthal that was also the donor of the RSC Brands, being the capital campaign’s largest donor. The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center also hosts such Broadway productions as the 2015/16 Broadway Lights series’ The Sound of Music, Matilda the Musical, The Wizard of Oz among others. It also features the PNC Broadway Extras including Motown the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Ragtime, Kinky Boots, The Book of Mormon, the Hip Hop Nutcracker, the Blue Man Group, Stomp, and Once.
