Bata Airport - BSG
Bata Airport located in Bata, Equitorial Guinea is the second largest in the region. It serves the area of Bata and its neighboring towns in Litoral. This public airport is operated by the Aeropuertos De Guinea Ecuatorial and sits 4 meters above mean sea level. The airport has a single runway that operates only during daytime and with good light. It is large to accommodate bigger aircrafts such as the Boeing 737 and is the current state carrier with for other private airline companies served in the airport - CEIBA International, Cronos Airlines, Guinea Equatorial Airlines and the local airline in Bata.

BSG Airport has a capacity of 15,000 passengers in 2001. It is located 4 kilometers north of Bata and at the southern part of Utonde at a distance of 2.3 miles. Most of the flights from Bata transport passengers from the Malabo International Airport or the Mangomo or Annobon areas. Interestingly, in July 2002, all the airport staff was arrested for allowing a Popular Union leader from an opposition party board a flight to Gabon.
