Colima National Airport is also referred to as Licenciado Miguel de la Madrid National Airport. This public airport has an airport code of CLQ and is operated by Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares, a corporation owned by the federal government. CLQ is located in Colima, Mexico and is named in honor of the former president of Mexico, Miguel de la Madrid who presided over the country from 1982-1988 and was born in the state.
