Davis is a small town in Tucker County located in the US state of West Virginia. It is also situated along the Blackwater River. As of 2010, the town population was at 660 people. Davis, West Virginia has the best weather from April to June. Take note, though, that the small town experiences the busiest tourism in the month of May. Don’t let the small town fool you. Davis, WV has a lot to offer especially since it is situated near many idyllic spots including Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Caverns, and Spruce Knob. These are roughly only a 1.5 hour drive away. Since Davis is also located up on the mountains, it is great for skiing. The Canaan Valley Resort State Park and the Timberline Four Seasons Resort are not only great Davis, WV hotels to stay in but it boasts of many slopes for all levels of skiing.
