EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts now Arts Commons is a six level complex used as a multi-venue arts centre. Occupying a full block, it is located in the Olympic Plaza Cultural District in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Center gets 400,000 attendees every year for the more than 1800 performances. Arts Commons was first named Calgary Centre for the Performing Arts and then in 2001 its name was changed to EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, and finally in 2014 it started using its present name. “Commons” in Arts Commons represents people of all walks of life.
