Frankfurt, Germany is a metropolis and is the fifth largest city in Germany. Its importance isn’t just limited to this century however as the city also played an important role during the Holy Roman Empire. Tourism is often at its peak during April, May, August, and September as the weather hits that perfect temperature for outdoor excursions. Since it’s a buzzing city, there are attractions and activities all year round so there’s no “wrong” time to go there. Some festivals worth noting however include the Apple Wine Festival which is celebrated in August every year.

Great points of interest include the Benediktinerabtei Seligenstadt, and the Botanical Gardens. Bring your friends to and the Cathedral Museum. Have a fun day touring the Darmstadt Palace.
