The Fort Smith Regional Airport is a public use joint civil-military airport in the US state of Arkansas. It is a public airport that is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas and serves Fort Smith area. It also serves transportation needs of businesses and residents of Western Arkansas and Western Oklahoma. Its airport code, FSM, stands for Arkansas second largest city’s name Fort Smith. Since 1953, the airport was home to Arkansas Air National Guard's 188th Wing and Fort Smith Air National Guard station. As of 2013, the airport has handled 82,742 million passengers.
