Qabala International Airport – GBB Gabala
Qabala International Airport public commercial airport in the municipality of Qabala (also called Gabala) in Gabala District in Azerbaijan, a country in the intersection of Western Asia and Eastern Europe. Opened in the public by President IIham Alijeh on November 7, 2011, the airport is owned and operated by the government with an IATA airport code of GBB, controlling the air traffic operations of Qababa and its surrounding cities of Ismailly, Oghuz and Goychay. The airport is the main passageway of many tourists to explore many of the city’s natural attractions including Tufandag Mountain Resort, Yeddi Gozel Waterfall and Nohur Lake.
