Geneva is a city located along the southern border of Geneva County in the state of Alabama, U.S. Geneva, Alabama is one of Geneva County’s largest cities, covering 16 square miles of land and catering to a population that, as of 2010, numbered over 4,000. Located by the river junction at Fowler Park, the Constitution Oak is said to be Alabama’s oldest oak tree. This grand, regal oak towers over the other trees and has branches that balloon outward, making it almost appear like a living animal. Another one of Geneva’s sites is the River Oaks Golf Course. This is a nine-hole public course that first opened in 1991 and has since been a favorite spot among locals and tourists alike.
