Glendale, Utah is a small town located in Kane County. It only housed more than 300 residents, according to the 2010 census. The town was first established way back 1871 by Mormon pioneers, who named it “Berryville.” Glendale is strategically situated amidst most of the parks in Southern Utah, making it the perfect base camp for hotels and accommodations for the tourists visiting these parks.

For visitors wanting to experience Glendale’s great outdoors, the best times to visit are between mid-May to late September when the weather is just right. October is a pretty active month for the town as it celebrates its annual Glendale Heritage Apple Festival that dates back to 1999. The event racks up hundreds of visitors, so expect crowded streets and Glendale, UT hotels. However, December sees the least number of tourists, which meant discounted hotel rates and airfare.

Although the town is small, it is strategically located near several popular tourist spots in the area. About twenty miles from the town is Zion National Park and less than an hour away is the Bryce Canyon. It is also worth noting that the city is just half an hour drive away from Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park.
