The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is located in the city of Corvallis in western Oregon. It first opened in 1922 as Corvallis General Hospital. The institution had 188 beds and offered a variety of medical services, including surgery, pediatrics, radiology, maternity, intensive care, ontology, neurology, and mental health. After World War II nearly drove the hospital to bankruptcy, it was revamped into Good Samaritan Hospital under Samaritan Health Services. Today, it is no known as the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
