Hancock, Vermont is a town located along the southeastern border of Addison County in Vermont, U.S. The town is one of several in the U.S. named after John Hancock, the American Revolutionary patriot who signed the Declaration of Independence. Hancock, Vermont covers 38 square miles of land, as of 2010, housed a relatively sparse population of 323 residents. The nearest airport to Hancock is Hartness State Airport (VSF) in Springfield, more than an hour away.
