Hualien, Exploring the Beautiful Coastal City of Taiwan
Nestled on the eastern part of Taiwan, Hualien City is the county seat of Hualien, which in turn is the biggest known county in terms of land area. The county is located on the mountainous part of Taiwan, making it one of the smallest in terms of population. July in Hualien promises only cheap hotel rooms and a very comfortable climate. In July, the town also holds their annual Hualien Harvest Festival, a three-day event highlights the cultures and tradition of the six tribes living in the county. The busiest month for Hualien is in October during which most of Hualien, Taiwan hotels are expensive.
