Iasi International Airport – IAS Iasi
Iasi International Airport is located in Iasi, Romania approximately five miles from the city center. The public international airport is run by Iasi County Council. It is considered as one of the pioneer accredited airports in Romania and is the fourth busiest airport in the country. The airport serves as a very significant airport in the region of Moldavia.

Iasi International Airport (IAS) has three terminals since it serves both domestic and international flights. Terminal 1, the old terminal, and terminal 3 is utilized for international flights while terminal 2 is for domestic. The airport has one asphalt runway measuring 7,874 feet by 148 feet. Both the ends of the runway are equipped with Approach Lighting Systems. The airport handles Aegean Airlines, Air Bucharest, AMC Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Blue Air, Onur Air, TAROM and Wizz Air to destinations in Barcelona, Brussels, Bucharest, Munich, Chareloi, Vienna and many others. Some flights are seasonal like destinations in Antalya and Hurhgada. Based on 2018 statistics from the Romanian AIP at Eurocontrol, the airport served 1,256,640 passengers with 12,749 aircraft movements. Valea Lupului is a nearby city to the airport.
