Kista, Sweden is a district located in the borough of Rinkeby-Kista Stockholm. It is strategically located between Stockholm and the Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). It is also near the main national highway which is the main artery of the country in terms of economy. The town is comprising of both residential and commercial areas. Kista is also known for its telecommunications and IT industry. The large research area is called the Kista Science City. The area is one of the largest in Europe and can be compared to the Silicon Valey in Calfornia. Kista was named after an old farm called the Kista Gard. The nearest airport to Kista is Bromma Airport (BMA).
